About Me

As a BACP registered psychotherapeutic counsellor, my approach is informed by over six years of study, ten years of practice, and my own therapeutic journey working on similar issues to my clients.

I come from a working class North East family that had a legacy of intergenerational trauma, anxiety and premature death. To survive this I became a high achiever driven by my need to fill the hollowness and anxiety I felt inside. Through my own journey and healing I decided to leave my corporate career and train to become the therapist I had needed during those challenging times. For example, I have spent the last year studying developmental trauma to create my own integrated therapeutic model for working with it.

My 17-year senior corporate career began in engineering and relationship account management, culminated in my becoming an international business development director. This experience allows me to offer a unique bridge between the high-pressure professional world and deep, soulful inner work. Whilst my primary focus is therapy, I also work as an executive coach supporting leaders with their developmental growth and well-being issues. I have worked with individuals from over 50 diverse cultures.

I live in Teddington and I am married with stepchildren and a labradoodle.
